April 24, 2003 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- The UK division of colocation provider Redbus Interhouse (interhouse.redbus.com) announced on Wednesday that it has been selected by Verio to provide managed services to the Web hosting and Internet services company. Redbus Interhouse engineers will work with Verio (verio.com) to augment its current managed service offerings, the company reports.
?Verio?s European customer base has grown substantially over the past three years and against the industry trend,? said Craig Pennington, hosting operations director, Verio Europe. Our relationship with Redbus Interhouse has allowed us to concentrate on the provision of managed services, while being confident that the facilities and security piece is being comprehensively covered. We?re extending our use of Redbus Interhouse?s services as we know we can rely on them to maintain the excellent service we?ve received to date.?
Verio has been a Redbus Interhouse client since 2000 when it opened a number of managed services hosting centers in Europe. ?Redbus Interhouse was able to provide the facilities we needed at the right price to meet our UK objectives and has continued to do so ever since," said Pennington.
Simon Neal, Country Manager, Redbus Interhouse (UK) Ltd, commented on Redbus Interhouse?s widening scope. "We see this expansion of the services Redbus Interhouse currently provides to Verio as a significant vote of confidence in our capability to deliver managed facilities, far beyond our colocation offering, reliably and effectively.?
Redbus Interhouse offers neutral colocation facilities to enterprise clients across Europe. It has data centers in London, Paris, Milan, Frankfurt and Amsterdam.
