July 23, 2003 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Terremark (terremark.com) announced today it has opened a new Tier-1 Network Access Point (NAP): NAP of the Americas/West in Santa Clara, California.
According to the company, the facility will service its carriers, government and private sector customers.
In addition, the new NAP will provide additional redundancy to the network operations center at Terremark's flagship NAP of the Americas in Miami.
