May 6, 2004 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Speedera Networks (speedera.com), a provider of on-demand distributed application and content delivery services, announced on Thursday that it will deliver advertisements for the customers of Direct Response Technologies, a provider of online media and technology solutions. Speedera will also support Direct Response Technologies' affiliate reporting and tracking tools.
Direct Response Technologies said it required an outsourced solution that was scalable and capable of moving a high volume of traffic. The company also did not want to manage or build out any new IT infrastructure and required extended geographical reach for its clients in Europe, Australia and the United States.
"Direct Response Technologies' commitment is to provide superior service and track online transactions for our clients," says Greg Stoltz, chief technology officer for Direct Response Technologies. "We needed an infrastructure partner who could provide us the global reach, capacity, and performance to meet our business objectives. We rigorously examined various service providers and concluded that Speedera had the deep industry expertise and credibility in the online marketing business to help us successfully deliver the full range of creative forms of commercial communications, from banner ads to Flash streaming."
Speedera is also deploying SpeedEye, its Web-based management portal, in support of Direct Response's ad management service.
"Direct Response Technologies is at the forefront of understanding and influencing consumer behavior online," says Ajit Gupta, president and CEO of Speedera Networks. "By offloading its central ad delivery site, Direct Response can now more fully concentrate on its core business of determining the best way to put the right message in front of the right target audiences through multiple forms of digital communications. We are excited to be a key accelerator for the growth of Direct Response Technologies and the overall online marketing industry."
