August 17, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider and domain registrar Go Daddy (godaddy.com) announced on Wednesday that it had introduced RSS feeds from its Web site.
Go Daddy says the feeds provide customers with real-time access to domain auctions, news, product announcements, newly issued press releases, information on topics to be discussed on Radio Go Daddy and updates on Go Daddy CEO Bob Parsons's blog (bobparsons.com).
The service, free of charge, enables customers to subscribe to the RSS feed of their choice by clicking the "RSS Feeds" link on the GoDaddy.com navigation bar. This takes customers to a RSS landing page that provides information and instructs them how to install Go Daddy RSS feeds into their RSS reader.
"By offering RSS feeds - which is one of the hottest technologies on the Internet right now - our customers can subscribe to the exact, updated information they need," says Parsons. "RSS is just another example of how Go Daddy, in response to customer requests, leveraged the latest Internet technology for our customers' benefit."
