October 25, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- IT infrastructure management solution provider Raritan (raritan.com) announced on Tuesday that it had introduced a new managed service provider program.
Raritan says the program will help managed service providers improve service levels, create new services and develop more cost-effective management tools.
The centerpiece of the program is the CommandCenter family of network and system management appliances, which monitors IT equipment health and security. Its capabilities include monitoring, notifying and reporting network and systems problems, identifying and tracking IT assets, guarding against security threats and meeting compliance requirements.
"Our remote monitoring and management solutions enable MSPs to offer customers new services, and capture more recurring revenue from clients," says Jeff Coulter, sales manager for managed services at Raritan. "With remote access and centralized device management, just about any service, other than physical installations, can be performed without going on site. This helps improve productivity, efficiency and response time to remediate problems."
