October 15, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- RampRate Technology Advisors (ramprate.com) today announced an ambitious
partner incentive initiative.
As part of its aggressive fourth quarter strategy, RampRate will double fees
paid on referrals between now and the end of the year, subject to program

referrals that successfully result in new business contracts signed by
January 15, 2003, with an eye toward complementary business opportunities.
RampRate will pay up to $125,000 for leads that translate to new business.
RampRate is a technology advisor that assists companies with IT and
infrastructure services procurement, using a data-driven methodology. These
services include hosting and co-location, content delivery, streaming media,
managed services, bandwidth, asset and content management, and quality of
service (QoS) tools.
"In the spirit of partnership, we're encouraging our more than 135 partners
to work with us in areas that are ancillary or non-core to their business
--and we'll reward them accordingly," said Ed Agar, senior vice president of
marketing and strategic partnerships, RampRate. " Our partners have been
critical to our success -- they're in a real sense an extension of RampRate,
and this change in our selling methodology empowers them even more. Because
we look to our referral partners to get the message out about the new market
dynamics, we have tiered our referral rates according to the partner's level
of involvement."
