April 24, 2003 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- RampRate LLC (ramprate.com) announced on Thursday that it has appointed senior finance and operations executive Mark Smialowicz as the company?s new chief financial officer and chief operating officer.
In appointing Smialowicz to the dual posts, RampRate will assume a strategic role in further defining and extending RampRate?s data-driven sourcing model, the company reports.
Smialowicz joins RampRate from McLeodUSA, a facilities-based telecommunications provider where he was responsible for the managed services unit and its mid-market customers. Prior to McLeod USA, he served as CFO of managed services provider Devise Associates, which McLeod USA subsequently acquired.
