October 19, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Infrastructure solution and software as a service provider RagingWire Enterprise Solutions (ragingwire.com) announced on Tuesday that it had named John Hoffman as its new chief executive officer.
As CEO and board member, Hoffman will lead the day-to-day business decisions for RES and help develop and strategize the company's IT services and solutions on a global level.
The former CIO and general manager of eBusiness at Applied Materials will replace George Macricostas, who has been appointed executive vice chairman of the board of directors and chairman of the strategic alliance and planning committee. In May 2000, George Macricostas co-founded RES with Constantine "Deno" Macricostas, chairman of the board of directors, and Yatish Mishra, president and CTO.
