October 20, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Comodo's (comodogroup.com) Web hosting automation software division Positive Software (psoft.net) announced on Wednesday that it had named Carlos Rego as managing director.
Rego has been with Positive Software since 2002 as director of business development. As managing director, he will oversee global sales, marketing and business development operations. A hosting industry veteran, Rego was president of Datacolo and CEO of WizardsHosting prior to joining Positive Software.
"From day one, Carlos took an energetic and proactive approach to the establishment and nurturing of relationships with key business partners," says Igor Seletskiy, technical director of Comodo. "His extensive knowledge of the Web hosting and data center industry has been invaluable both to the continuing growth of PSOFT and to the development of our range of hosting infrastructure solutions. We are delighted that Carlos will use this track record to help shape PSOFT and H-Sphere into the dominant force in the web hosting industry."
Comodo acquired Positive Software, with offices in New York and Ukraine, earlier this year.
