February 23, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Celebrity Web sites, services and e-commerce software developer Paid, Inc. (paid.com) announced on Tuesday it will partner with SplitStream Technologies, LLC (splitstreamtech.com) to develop and maintain the ecommerce system behind rock band Aerosmith's Aero Force One fan club Web site (aeroforceone.com) and additional celebrity fan club Web sites Paid plans to develop.
The Westwood, Massachusetts-based
SplitStream, a subsidiary of Susquehanna Capital Management, LLC,
provides enterprise level management for IT infrastructure, Web
application development and data center managed services. Over the past
several years it has developed valuable knowledge of fan management
application development working closely with AF1 and other
organizations.
SplitStream says it is one of the few
technology companies that have created commerce systems with the
application development and network architecture capable of handling
the high traffic volumes that occur during online ticket sales events.
