July 4, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- New hosting provider OnSmart Network Inc. (OnSmart.net) announced on Thursday that it will launch its services on July 5, offering customers virtual environments, an advanced form of the popular virtual private server.
OnSmart says it will deploy the HSPcomplete solution for the management of its Virtuozzo-based Linux servers, offering customers a capacity similar to that of a dedicated server, at a significant cost savings. OnSmart says the new technology is more efficient and reliable than other partitioning technology.
"We can provide our customers with the powerful capabilities they want at much lower prices, while we reduce our admin costs and overhead," says Jacky Yung, CEO of OnSmart.
Along with its virtual environments, OnSmart Network offers a range of services including fully dedicated servers and private hosting, which offers a comparable level of security and customer privacy to a virtual private server solution, at a cost comparable to that of shared hosting.
The company says its hosting plans will begin at $14.95 per month.
Beware of this Host they continued to charge my CC for $180 after my account was canceled and still refuse to refund it posted by: Dan | June 02, 2007 12:17AM
They have very POOR customer service and are extremely unreliable. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. Look elsewhere there are plenty of other better options. Consider yourself warned. posted by: jk | November 15, 2007 05:11PM
