September 23, 2003 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- NaviSite (navisite.com) announced yesterday the appointments of Denis Martin and Will Scott to its senior management team. Martin has been appointed to the newly created position of senior vice-president or corporate development and Scott will succeed Martin as vice-president of product management.
Both Martin and Scott are moving from positions within the company. Martin most recently served as vice-president of products and services with NaviSite, while Scott moves into his new role from his position as vice-president of application services.
Prior to joining NaviSite, Martin managed the national hosting and application services organization for AppliedTheory, Inc., a company he co-founded.
Scott has extensive experience in the outsourcing and technology industries, previously holding senior positions at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Inspired Broadcast Networks and Ebeon.
