April 6, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) --UK based managed application, infrastructure and messaging service provider NaviSite Europe (navisite-europe.com) announced on Wednesday that car manufacturer Hyundai has renewed its contract for managed Web hosting services for an additional three years.
The new agreement provides Hyundai with an upgraded Web environment for a reliable and scaleable solution to support Hyundai?s newly launched corporate Web site, as well as its recent re-branding initiative.
NaviSite Europe hosts Hyundai?s UK Web site from its data center in London on a Linux-run dedicated Dell server. The environment is designed to ensure complete reliability of service and provide a strong security framework with full back-up facilities and a dedicated firewall to diminish external security threats.
"They maintained the old Web site on our old server until we were ready to switch over to the new hosting environment, ensuring that we had no downtime," says James Carrington, customer relationship marketing manager at Hyundai.
