July 16, 2004 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- IMergent (imergentinc.com), a provider of e-commerce software to small and medium-sized businesses, announced on Friday that it has recorded $1.6 million in revenue from workshops it recently held in various regions of the United Kingdom. Imergent conducted six full-day workshops that introduced potential customers to the StoresOnline e-commerce platform. The workshops showed customers how to open and promote their businesses online and taught various Internet marketing techniques.
The company said it expects to generate another $400 million in ancillary product revenue related to these workshops over the next two months.
"IMergent's international strategy continues to generate great response in each new international market we have visited," says Don Danks, chairman and chief executive officer of iMergent. "We plan to continue to expand our international presence in fiscal 2005 and have scheduled additional StoresOnline workshops in nine European countries including Germany, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, and others in the first quarter of fiscal 2005."
