July 28, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Domain name registrar GoDaddy (godaddy.com), announced on Thursday it has released Online Group Calendar, a service that enables users to share their calendars, schedule meetings or events, send invitations, manage resources and share files with other group members via the Internet.
Online Group Calendar lets users to see when other group members have free time for instant scheduling. Users can also send email invitations for events to any recipient including those outside the defined group, as well as schedule automatic email reminders of the event.
Despite its "sharing" features, Online Group Calendar maintains the privacy and security of the user's personal information. The application includes a popular account delegation feature that, when activated, enables another person to add, edit or delete events in an individual's calendar. Online Group Calendar is compatible with popular email clients such as Microsoft Outlook, and supports 547 time zones.
