July 26, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Domain registrar and Web hosting provider The Go Daddy Group (godaddy.com) announced on Tuesday that its three domain name divisions will now offer the .jobs top-level domain. The .jobs extension serves the human resources community and is backed by the Society for Human Resources Management.
.Jobs is a restricted domain overseen by the registry Employ Media, which verifies qualified applications. The domains are restricted to use in hiring and other HR practices. And companies registering .jobs domains agree to abide by the domain?s use policies as well as the SHRM code of professional ethics.

.Jobs domains will go live on or after September 1, 2005.
The Go Daddy Group's accredited registrars are Go Daddy, Blue Razor Domains and Wild West Domains.
