March 24, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) Bob Parsons, CEO of domain registrar and Web hosting provider Go Daddy (godaddy.com), announced in his blog (bobparsons.com) earlier this week that the company plans to launch a radio show on March 30, 2005, broadcasting from its headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The show will air every Wednesday for one hour at 7:00 p.m. pacific, 10:00 p.m. eastern standard time. Radio Go Daddy will be available on both Sirius and XM satellite radio, in addition to some AM radio stations. Those who miss the live broadcast can visit the radiogodaddy.com (radiogodaddy.com) Web site, where the show will be available for download.
David Lawrence of "The David Lawrence Show" will host the show, which will feature Bob Parsons, Go Daddy employees and other "interesting guests." Parsons said in his blog that the show would focus on issues affecting Internet users and would not resemble an infomercial. It will be educational yet funny, Parsons says, touching on topics such as include privacy issues, phishing, indentity theft, business tips, and interesting and unusual Web sites such as savetoby.com.
"I plan on doing the same thing with the show that I do with this Blog, and that's to 'tell it like it is' in the same plain, unvarnished fashion that you're used to getting from me," Parsons wrote.
