October 31, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Metropolitan optical connectivity provider FiberNet Telecom Group, Inc. (FTGX.com) announced on Wednesday that it has executed an agreement with British Telecom subsidiary BT North America Inc. to provide various colocation services.

FiberNet says it enables carriers to connect directly with one another quickly and simply using its 100 percent fiber optic networks. The company manages high-density short-haul networks between carrier hubs within major metropolitan areas.
