Precis is an integrated group of Web solutions created in a modular design. Each module, dubbed an "eXtension", combines functionality and the ability to share core data throughout all eXtensions. According to the company, Precis will allow clients to manage a wide range of functions including content, commerce, projects, marketing, sales, mailings, training, resources and Web-related staffing activities.

Precis clients can subscribe to individual eXtensions or create their own scalable solutions.
E-com Media Group announced the general availability of Precis 3.0 in July, 2003.
