March 17, 2004 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- AlertSite (alertsite.com), a provider of Web site, Web transaction and server monitoring services, has released a new Web load testing service, the company announced on Tuesday.
According to the company, the service is being delivered in conjunction with Mentora (mentora.com), an IT service company that specializes in performance testing. The service, delivered over a period pf ten business days, helps customers understand their application and user workload, define necessary testing scripts, run three distinct load simulations, and deliver a final assessment report that details the results and makes recommendations.
AlertSite said the service allows companies to determine how their Web applications perform and scale under the stress of user demand.
