January 20, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Data393 (data393.com) announced on Tuesday that it has completed a private equity placement totaling $2.95 million.

The placement included approximately $600,000 invested by the company's CEO, Lee Woodward. He says additional funding was obtained from friends and family.
Data393, which employs 62 people and is located at the Inverness Buisness Park in a suburb of Denver, Colorado, says it will use the new capital to fund infrastructure expansion and improvements to the company's 46,000 square-foot facility.
"This placement was important for our continued growth and profitability, and will allow us to service our existing and future customers better and more efficiently," said Woodward.
