"We will now be working with a live model of an alternative virtualization system without having to experiment on our existing client base," says Fat Jack spokesperson, Nicole Silverstone. "By moving to an open source alternative, we have the potential to acquire the information we need to reduce license costs. Those cost savings can then be passed on to our loyal customers."
The acquisition will also provide Fat Jack Hosting customers with an extensive range of articles, increased traffic from alternative sources and a newly added directadmin offering to the Web host's panel lineup. Most importantly, it will significantly increase Fat Jack's ability to serve its virtualization products at a lower price point.
