December 10, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider CrystalTech Web Hosting (crystaltech.com) announced on Monday that it is offering ColdFusion 8 Enterprise as an option on all Windows dedicated hosting plans.
As the first product release since CrystalTech announced its new partnership with Adobe on December 3, the monthly licensing structure provides developers and business owners an affordable alternative to purchasing a ColdFusion 8 Enterprise license on their own, which has a retail cost of over $7,000, says the company. The Enterprise edition offers several features including sandboxing, event gateway architecture, PDF and document services, high-performance email delivery, multi-threaded CFML and J2EE application server deployment.
"This is an ideal option for any ColdFusion developer as it provides them with the privacy of being the sole user on the server without the huge cost of purchasing their own license," says Robert Cichon, president of CrystalTech. "Our new partnership with Adobe has given us the means to provide a truly cost-effective way for our customers to take advantage of this powerful Web environment."
CrystalTech will be offering the ColdFusion 8 Enterprise option for the month of December at a promotional price of $99.95 per month, with a one-time setup fee of $99.95.
