December 5, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- NEON Communications, a subsidiary of Web hosting and networking provider Globix (globix.com) announced on Tuesday it has named Patrick Coughlin, Russ Schomber and James Capuano vice presidents of sales and marketing, engineering and operations, respectively.
Coughlin has been with NEON for six years holding positions of increasing responsibility within the sales organization. As VP of sales and marketing, he will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, customer relationship management, pricing, marketing communications, product management, new product development and market development.
Schomber has been with NEON for seven years and has had a strong role in engineering the company's network since its launch. As VP of engineering, He will head up network engineering, network design and architecture, overseeing inside plant engineering, off-net provisioning, network planning and new product readiness.
Capuano has been with NEON for seven years and has helped deliver services to NEON's high profile customer base. In this expanded role of VP of operations, he will supervise NEON's network control center, customer care, field operations, IS/IT, provisioning, change management and quality assurance.
