December 4, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider pxdHost (pxdhost.co.uk) announced on Friday it has been chosen by three North Hampshire churches to launch and host their Web site, Clerewoodlands.org.uk (clerewoodlands.org.uk).
The new united benefice of Kingsclere and Ashford Hill with Headley in Hampshire have launched a Web site with pxdHost to keep parishioners informed of events and activities at the three churches as well as to be a source of visitor and historical information.
"Like every organization, the church can make use of the latest technology," says Reverend Lucy Thirtle. "We offer a range of worship across the benefice each month and it is important that people can find out quickly and easily what is on when and where, as well as information about other events. Churches are important hubs of our community and this new Web presence will help people to be in touch with what is going on, no matter where they are. The fact that we can simply update and change the site ourselves means it will always be current and relevant."
PxdHost says it is looking forward to working with its first hosted client in this sector and believes its competitively priced service, which includes WiseNav's Web site building solution, will be ideal for non-profit organizations with a need for a multi-media Web presence.
