November 29, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Advanced Internet Technologies (ait.com) announced on Tuesday it has launched a holiday promotion, offering customers a free home computer or PDA when they purchase an AIT hosting account, from now through January 1, 2007.
Why use a vendor when you can choose a partner? DataPipe delivers highly customized solutions to meet your unique IT needs. World-class data centers in the U.S., London & China. DataPipe - Personal Touch, Global Reach.
"What better way to say I love you than to give a free home computer?" says Catherine Boling, AIT's VP of sales. "We ran this exact same special last year and the response was overwhelming, so much so that we have return customers asking us to run it again.
AIT's hosting plans offer variety for both the reseller and end user, providing options that allow for as much or as little administrative ownership of the services. All of AIT's hosting offerings can be tailored to the specific demands of the customer.
Each plan is supported by industrial grade infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime, and AIT's 93,000 square foot data center provides round-the-clock digital, electronic and physical security along with its customer support. The company's dual Sonet rings and OC-192 fiber connectivity ensure maximum redundancy and uptime, cutting down any costly downtimes.
What AIT SHOULD be doing is improving their horrendous customer service. I was a customer of a few years, and since the initial email, their customer service was extremely lacking. At the moment, I've been trying to cancel my account for two months, and the company still charges me, which I know have to dispute along with my lawyer. It's a shame, because they do have a very polite, albeit un-knowledgeable, staff. The service was nothing special, probably about "average", and the pricing was very good. Unfortunately, though, I have been spending more in the past couple months with the current problem. Be wary! posted by: Chris | September 01, 2007 03:25PM
