November 26, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center software provider Aperture Technologies (aperture.com) announced on Monday that it has partnered with data center automation software provider BladeLogic (bladelogic.com) to become part of the BladeLogic Data Center Alliance program.
The partnership, effective immediately, will provide IT organizations with a unified platform to integrate physical and logical infrastructure for managing change and compliance in the data center. The combination of the BladeLogic and Aperture solutions enables critical data center assets, both logical and physical, to be viewed across IT organizations and departments, says Aperture. This partnership provides data centers with a common view of the operational, physical and logical state of servers and applications to improve change success rates and demonstrate better and continuous compliance.
"We are proud to join the BladeLogic Data Center Alliance program," says Steve Yellen, VP of product and market strategy for Aperture Technologies. "Our products complement each other perfectly to provide data center managers with details of assets and configurations, resulting in a full view of the physical and logical configuration attributes of the data center. Providing the most comprehensive data to our customers while delivering cost saving benefits to the data center is essential; this partnership delivers both."
Aperture VISTA enables IT executives to manage today's complex data center environments through advanced planning and management capabilities. It provides data center managers with a visual representation of the data center including the space available, power consumption and cooling requirements.
Last month, Racemi joined the BladeLogic Data Center Alliance program.
