The company's Whois privacy protection service, called ProtectFly, replaces the domain registrant's contact information with that of RegisterFly.com in the Whois database. The Whois database stores the names and contact information of domain name owners.
"A number of our competitors charge upwards of $9 for privacy protection and most offer no free Web space within their standard offering," says Terry Kocek, vice president of sales for RegisterFly.com.
