November 16, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Host Depot (hostdepot.com) announced on Thursday it is offering an e-commerce hosting solution for the holiday to help customers grab a piece of the $32 billion in online holiday shopping.
Host Depot says it is offering solutions to help clients launch their e-commerce Web sites fast, with tools enabling them to have their accounts taking orders the same day they are set up. Host Depot is also offering the Google Checkout e-commerce tool to enable customers to easily and securely purchase products on the Web sites.
The company says its Bandwidth Bank tool enables customers to roll over their unused bandwidth, which comes in handy during the holiday season where many e-commerce sites use up the majority of their bandwidth.
"It's not just more online shoppers, but there are many people setting up online stores to cash in on the e-Holidays shopping craze," says Jeff Pettit, VP of marketing at Host Depot. "All these new businesses are looking for easy online tools to get in the game and start selling. The problem is that many are waiting until the last minute, which is where we come in."
