November 13, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center operator and managed services provider Peak 10 (peak10.com) announced on Tuesday it opened its new data center facility to the public today in Norcross, Georgia. The new data center will generate more than 20 new jobs and $20 million in capital investment over the next five years for Gwinnett.
The facility opening is another success for Partnership Gwinnett, the community's long-term, public-private economic development initiative. Led by the Gwinnett Chamber (gwinnettchamber.org), the program targets information technology companies like Peak 10.
Peak 10 combines its network of secure, high-tech data centers and portfolio of managed services with localized engineering and support to serve market-leading companies nationwide. The new data center will provide managed colocation, enterprise hosting, high performance bandwidth and a wide range of managed services including disaster recovery, storage, monitoring and management, security and data protection, while revitalizing and occupying an existing communications building in Norcross.
