November 8, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Canadian Web hosting provider Cirrus Tech (cirrushosting.com) announced on Monday that the rising Canadian dollar has had a positive effect on the company's operations and has helped it to attract more Canadian clients.
Cirrus Tech's CFO Ali Mirdamadi says that not only has Cirrus Tech been able to reduce pricing on its Web hosting plans, but it has taken the exchange rate out of the equation with its US store, so that potential clients can have the option to buy affordable Web hosting plans from Cirrus Tech and pay the exact same dollar figure whether they pay in Canadian or US Dollars.
Mirdamadi says that this has actually improved Cirrus Tech's sales in the third quarter because Canadian customers who were reluctant to purchase from Canadian Web hosts due to the strong dollar value can now take advantage of the company's more affordable solutions without having to look across the border for better deals. Mirdamadi also says that its lower prices have helped to attract many more US customers as well.
