Trustix Enterprise Firewall delivers a high performance firewall to monitor network traffic and protect the network against unauthenticated traffic or login attempts from malicious attackers. TEF uses a WYSIWYG interface in combination with advanced security features to offer a free solution for use without any licensing, subscription, or renewal fees.
The new firewall solution provides core firewall functionality as well as includes several additional security and usability features to safeguard a company's network. These include monitoring traffic volume and the type of traffic, advising administrator about malicious activity, a packet-filtering router, an intuitive GUI, network address translation and virtual private network configurations, packet-filtering, high availability and load balancer, Web content filtering, antivirus and intrusion detection system.
