November 6, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Managed hosting services provider Macquarie Telecom (macquarietelecom.com) announced on Monday it has signed a three year contract with publisher Haymarket Media (haymarketmedia.com.au) to meet Haymarket's current and future online content plans.
The agreement will see Macquarie provide Haymarket Media with a complex managed dedicated hosting solution, Web servers, dedicated firewall and security services and round-the-clock technical support. Macquarie also provides Haymarket Media with data connectivity services via its Metro Access Network, which helps to improve the data rates, performance and security of Haymarket's network.
The Haymarket Group publishes a range of titles covering different industry sectors, such as medical, media, motoring, sport and IT. The company has a significant technology publishing background in Australia, with a broad portfolio of IT print publications including CRN, Atomic MPC and PC Authority as well as key business to business sites, itnews.com.au \niTnews.com.au, crn.com.au, \nCRN.com.au and scmagazine.com.au.
