"Amanda is the complete package and 100 percent godaddyesque," says Bob Parsons, Go Daddy CEO and founder. "She's beautiful, no doubt about it, but more importantly, Amanda is a world-class athlete, an accomplished model and an articulate business woman."
The world class swimmer has won two gold medals, four silvers and a bronze, as well as a national championship. She has also appeared in many magazines, including Sports Illustrated, Outside, Maxim, FHM and the cover of Playboy. Beard is set to shoot her first Go Daddy commercial today in Los Angeles, California.
Parsons has yet to divulge whether Go Daddy will advertise in the Super Bowl for a fourth consecutive year, but he is quickly building a team of high-profile spokespeople. Beard joins Indy Racing League driver Danica Patrick, drag racer Valerie Thompson and WWE Diva and original Go Daddy Girl Candice Michelle, who all appeared together in last year's Super Bowl ad.
