The announcement follows news of another web host that also celebrated its 10th year anniversary this week. DediPower announced on Tuesday it is celebrating 10 years in the industry, having grown from a web solutions start-up in Reading, UK, to providing managed and dedicated hosting for "thousands of customers."

"In 1998, we started small, with only one system administrator, and he did everything from network operations to customer support," says Paul Bukhovko, marketing manager for FatCow. "Now, ten years later, we have a fully redundant network architecture that is monitored around the clock, to go along with a thriving, customer-focused support staff, affectionately known as 'the Moo Crew.'"

The web host celebrated the milestone by holding a contest that rewards 10 years of web hosting services. The company asked customers to submit their reasons why they host with FatCow, then posted the top 10 most creative reasons on its website.

The company is also offering a special anniversary promotional price of $78 a year for its its Original FatCow web hosting plan, which is regularly $88 a year.

The 30-day, money-back plan includes 1,500GB disk space, 15,000GB monthly bandwidth, unlimited POP mailboxes, website building tools, open-source app installer, blogs and forums, e-commerce capabilities, $75 in search engine ad credits, and around-the-clock customer support.

FatCow offers an affiliate program, "The Moo Money Affiliate Program," which provides customers with $85.00 per referral. The web host also offers a full reseller program and referral program.

Since 1998, FatCow says it has been providing shared Web hosting solutions for individuals and small to medium sized businesses.
