September 20, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Application management solutions provider Zeus Technology (zeus.com) announced on Wednesday it has appointed Kieron Thorpe to the position of director of systems engineering.

Reporting to the CEO, Kieron is responsible for key technology strategies, product support, maintenance and operations policies and partner and customer training programs. He directs the technical support and pre-sales teams as well as strategic planning to support the company's vision for future product enhancements and releases.
He brings over 20 years experience to the role, previously working with high technology ISP's, Internet exchange points, automated manufacturing and military telecommunications. He was most recently network operations manager for communications provider Timico. He has also held positions at The London Internet Exchange as an operations manager, and at Xchangepoint Europe as a chief operations manager.
