September 20, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Advanced network security provider netZentry (netzentry.com) announced on Wednesday it has launched version 2.7 of its DDoS protection software, CleanTraffic.
"The new version of netZentry's CleanTraffic provides a detailed analysis of traffic anomalies, including an intuitive visual display, to detect and prevent DDoS attacks on a real-time basis," says Rich Waidmann, president and CEO of REDPLAID Managed Hosting. "Because our clients can now see each attack at each stage of the attack, our clients can more clearly understand the value of preventing DDoS attacks before they cause outages, versus trying to mitigate them after they've already occurred like most other solutions."
The updated version of CleanTraffic carefully tracks each attack at each stage of the attack. Automated email reports are immediately sent to the affected customer, comprising of a visual report that documents anomaly detection, initiation of attack mitigation, dissipation of attack, and associated attack mitigation actions.
NetZentry says its sosftware combats both internal and external threats using a distributed collaborative approach that offers pinpoint defense while mitigating threats at their start.
