Concentra selected Alert Logic to avoid having to deploy and maintain a traditional intrusion protection and vulnerability management solution, enabling the company's IT staff to focus on more strategic projects.

Alert Logic's intrusion protection and vulnerability management solution has taken the place of Concentra's traditional packaged software solution. By using Alert Logic's software-as-a-service platform, Concentra no longer has to deploy and maintain an intrusion detection infrastructure. There are also no upfront hardware or software costs and no incremental staffing required, providing Concentra with significant cost savings.

The company announced last month that remote communications solutions provider Stratos Global selected the Alert Logic Threat Manager network security solution.
