September 17, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- IT security and management solutions provider Comodo (comodo.com) announced it has entered into an agreement whereby server automation and virtualization provider SWsoft (swsoft.com) will become a reseller of Comodo security solutions including Comodo SSL certificates. The announcement follows SWsoft's news Friday that the company purchased the assets of Comodo's Positive Software automation division.

Web hosts will now be able to purchase Comodo's EV SSL certificates, InstantSSL certificates and other specialty digital certificates such as Wildcard SSL certificates from SWsoft. By acquiring the assets and development center of PSoft, Comodo and SWsoft say they are positioned to offer one of the most robust and well-architected portfolios available to Web hosting companies.
This agreement reinforces Comodo's commitment to provide a well-integrated approach to automated infrastructure solutions and e-commerce technologies that enable Web hosts to help their customers create more trusted Web sites, says the company.
