Novara Partners with Reconnection

September 15, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Novara (novara.ie) announced on Thursday it has signed a contract to develop the .ie domain registration API for Register.com's reseller division, Reconnection (rconnection.com/).

The deal follows the success of its .ieXpress system, an application that automates the process for applying for a .ie domain by providing customers with an online tracking system to monitor the progress of each registration. Novara says that companies can now offer .ie domains for sale directly from their Web sites and, by using the .ieXpress API, will be able to process the registrations, change details and have all the related Irish Domain Registry technical requirements from within their own control panel.

"The contract was awarded to Novara.ie due to its proven track record in application development for the .ie domain registration sector," says Peadar O'Baoighill, European business development manager for Reconnection. "...we can use the .ieXpress API to streamline and automate our interactions with the Irish Domain Registry thus achieving a high level of speed and service in the processing of .ie registrations for our Irish and European clients."

Novara says it has over 10,000 clients including organizations like the Department of Justice, EBS Building Society and 98FM, and is one of Ireland's top three hosting companies.
