September 12, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- SSL certificate provider SSLGenie (sslgenie.com), a subsidiary of domain registrar MindGenies (mindgenies.com) announced on Tuesday that it is offering SSL certificates for affordable and customizable prices.

Since security companies now have efficient systems in place to automatically validate and issue certificates, SSLGenie says it is able to provide its SSL certificates at an affordable price through its custom pricing option, where customers pay only for what they buy, not for extra features they won't use.

The company says each customer often has its own security requirements. While one customer might need a basic SSL certificate with little warranty and just a few options, another customer that has an e-commerce Web site with high value transactions might need higher levels of security. In order to cater to all audiences SSLGenie offers custom packaging on top of its custom pricing where clients can create their own SSL certificate based on their exact need.

SSLGenie says it also has a fully automated ordering system, which enables it to verify that an SSL certificate purchaser has appropriate administrative rights to a domain name. SSLGenie says this also lowers the costs for issuing SSL certificates, which in turn saves the customer money.
