September 11, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- European Web hosting provider Netcetera (netcetera.co.uk) announced on Monday it is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with a 12-month promotion that will reward loyal customers and offer special prices on Web hosting packages.
Netcetera's celebration begins Monday with the announcement that yachting photographer Rick Tomlinson, the Web host's first-ever customer, will receive one year's free Web hosting.
"Ten years ago we were proud that our first customer Rick Tomlinson, the world famous photographer who grew up on the Isle of Man, had chosen us to host his business Web site," says Netcetera managing director Peter Skelton. "Today we're proud that he continues to choose us 10 years later. Web hosting can be an industry of here-today-gone-tomorrow operators, and this kind of customer loyalty is almost unheard of."
The company is planning a full calendar of birthday events and specials that will roll out over the next 12 months. Prizes, special offers, new service innovations and the grand opening of a £10 million data center in the Isle of Man will be highlights of the celebration.
