September 9, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Philanthropic foundation support services provider Foundation Source (foundationsource.com) has moved its services to Center 7's (center7.com) newest and most advanced data center.

According to an announcement Tuesday by Utah-based colocation and hosted business solutions provider Center 7, the company's 10,500 square foot data center in Lindon, Utah is continuing to fill quickly since its opening in May because of its data protection, hosting and disaster recovery solutions.

"When we set the criteria for identifying a data center partner, at the top of our list was selecting a facility that was specifically built to incorporate the very latest in technological advances," Foundation Source chief technologist Kyle Denning said in a statement. "The cooling and power resources along with the infrastructure to support our future growth were key components in making our decision to move to Center 7."

A provider of outsourced support services for private foundations, Foundation Source handles "back-office" tasks for charitable foundations including administration, compliance monitoring, federal and state filings, and grants management.

"We recognize Foundation Source's national presence and accomplishments. Their decision to utilize our facilities constitutes a milestone for Center 7 and our long-term plan to build, maintain, and fill the finest data centers possible," Center 7 President and CEO Nathan Hatch said in a statement. "We are resolute in adhering to our basic business tenets of offering the best value possible in data center technology and earning our clients' business each day with the best services and support."

Center 7 has multiple data centers in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. According to the company, it is a leader in colocation, managed hosting, business continuance and network business solutions in the US Intermountain West region between the Rocky Mountains, and the Cascades and Sierra Nevada.
