September 4, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Lunarpages recently announced it has started offering dedicated servers as part of its offerings. The company is making its dedicated service available through an entirely new Web site, Lunarpages Dedicated (lpdedicated.com).

The company's new dedicated plans include free setup, free backup space, control panel, domain name and IPs. The plans are designed for unlimited domain names and users can "choose from a big range of servers' specifications and use Windows or Linux operating systems".

Launched in 2000, Lunarpages initially offered shared Web hosting but has since then expanded to offer Windows, dedicated, reseller, and most recently, VPS Web hosting plans. The company's shared hosting plan includes 350GB storage, 3500GB bandwidth and come with free domains and CoffeeCup software.

The company has two data centers -- one in Los Angeles, California and one in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lunarpages says it also has an optimized call center in La Habra, California, as well as several satellite technicians scattered around the United States.
