Web Host Carpathia Acquires GOC

August 23, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider Carpathia Hosting (carpathiahost.com) announced on Tuesday it has acquired the customer base and related hardware from application hosting solutions provider Global Office Connect (globalofficeconnect.com).

As part of the transaction, Carpathia Hosting is retaining key GOC employees and expanding its Network Operations Center in Ashburn, Virginia.
