August 21, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Customer approval program operator RatePoint (ratepoint.com) announced on Monday that it has added 35 new Web hosting companies to its growing list of resellers.

The new resellers, including HostPC, Sprocket Networks and Five Star Hosting, join the RatePoint reseller community of now more than 50 companies with an aggregate reach in excess of 250,000 businesses. The RatePoint reseller program gives Web hosting companies, ISPs and other technology providers a way to not only grow their business and revenue, but to also add value to their customers.

"The hosting industry has become increasingly competitive over the past few years with millions of hosting companies and service providers vying for the same customers," says Neal Creighton, CEO of RatePoint. "Web hosting companies are finding that they need to go beyond traditional value-add services like e-commerce, Web design and SSL certificates to provide value to customers and maximize revenue. RatePoint recently launched its RatePoint Consumer Approval Program,which helps Web hosting and technology providers increase their business margins by proving their credibility as a business.
