August 20, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Print magazine Search Marketing Standard (searchmarketingstandard.com) has been acquired by media corporation iNET Interactive (inetinteractive.com) in a deal that will expand iNET's media portfolio serving internet professionals and technology enthusiasts.

"Search Marketing Standard is a strong brand, and it is a perfect complement to our strengths in the web development and web hosting areas."
Founded by Boris and Eugene Mordkovich, Search Marketing Standard launched in early 2006 seeking to provide readers with "practical, relevant and easy-to-understand Internet Marketing information." Before being sold to iNET, Search Marketing Standard magazine had grown its circulation to more than 50,000, including influential search engine advertisers and Internet marketers.

Boris Mordkovich said in a statement. "We have complete confidence that iNET Interactive will continue to grow and develop Search Marketing Standard with the same energy and dedication that we poured into it."
According to Search Marketing Standard, its websites contain interactive content including user-contributed ratings, reviews and discussion boards alongside instructional content for search and internet marketing professionals.
