August 20, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Internet solutions provider New Edge Networks (newedgenetworks.com) it has won a contract to build and manage a private communications network for payday cash advance service provider Express Check Advance (ecallc.com). New Edge expects to complete installation by the end of August.

Under the two-year agreement, Express Check Advance says it will use its New Edge network to introduce new products and offer more convenient services such as title loans, check cashing, gift and prepaid cards as well as debit cards through a new point of sale system that offers real-time access to branch transactions and information to its 140 locations.

"The private managed network that New Edge is building for Express Check Advance will provide flexibility for future growth and expansion," says Greg Griffiths, VP of marketing for New Edge Networks. "Planned network applications will help them grow revenue, cut expenses, and improve the overall experience for their customers."

Independent convenience store and petroleum operator WSCO Petroleum has also recently selected New Edge Networks to provide its 50 convenience stores and gas stations with a high-speed private network.
