This is just the latest in a series of high-profile appointments that Panther Express has announced in the past few months as it works towards restructuring its management team, following the closing of February's $15.75 million Series B round of venture financing.

In May, Panther Express announced it named Steve Liddell its new CEO, and more recently, named Mark King as the company's US vice president of sales and marketing.

Milner has over 18 years of sales experience in the service provider and carrier space. For the last nine years, he was at Level 3 Communications (level3.com), where he held many leadership roles including three years as sales VP for content markets.

He also helped launch Level 3's Cable & ISP vertical marketing program, as well as led the initial launch of its content markets sales team focused on selling to the top 75 web properties on the Internet. 

Prior to Level 3, he spent nine years at MCI business markets division in various sales management and headquarters positions.
