August 14, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- On-demand test and measurement solutions provider Keynote Systems (keynote.com) has announced its Keynote Internet Testing Environment, or KITE, is available for free to qualified early adopters for testing and analyzing web application performance.
According to Keynote's announcement Thursday, the KITE 2.0 early adopter program (kite.keynote.com) beginning today will allow web development, quality assurance and web operations teams to test the most sophisticated Web 2.0 sites and applications from their desktops.
"The feedback from our early adopters has been incredible," Keynote vice president of product management and corporate development Vik Chaudhary said in a statement. "It's clear that the exponential growth of cloud computing is presenting new, unique performance challenges; with KITE Web developers, QA engineers and web operations teams can easily topple those challenges to continue providing their end users with exceptional offerings."
Released in late June, KITE 2.0 monitors and analyzes performance from both the user desktop and off-site, addressing such important internet developments as rich internet applications, AJAX, video and flash.
